Toddlers

One of the best ways to begin a lifetime of learning enjoyment is with an early start at Greentrees Country Day School!

​

We start caring for children as young as 3 months here at Greentrees.  Our youngest friends, who have a classroom designed just for children ages 3-18 months, start their journeys with our loving staff and peers within their age range.  Children ages 18 months to 2 years 8 months are considered Greentrees’ toddlers.  They are also our most enthusiastic students! They are eager to explore their world, and we nourish and support their youthful curiosity and readiness to learn.

For many of these toddlers, Greentrees provides their first real experience within a social setting outside of the home. In the classroom and on the playground, the children gain valuable social skills and learn to interact well with each other and with their teachers. Toddlers get results by using their words instead of acting out.

Greentrees also plays an important role in the successful transition to potty training. We love our toddlers and want them to succeed. Here they will learn to grow into confident Greentrees alumni who are well prepared for Kindergarten and the years beyond.

We are very happy to be able to offer these specially designed programs for infants and toddlers. Our half-day toddler programs are available either 2, 3, or 5 days per week from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and our full day programs for all infants and toddlers are from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

 

The Greentrees' toddler program follows our regular school calendar.  Many of our children join us for camp in the summer as well... with many having their first swim lessons with us!
