Our Pre-K program supports each student as they develop confidence, independence, knowledge, creativity, and a true love of learning!

Onward and Upward to Kindergarten in June... but before that, there is much to do! Our Pre-K Program offers a low student to teacher ratio in a small classroom setting.  This allows children to feel secure and confident within their environment and enables them to learn according to their individual needs.

 

Teacher directed and child initiated activities introduce children to all areas of development in a literacy-rich environment. The curriculum is designed to build upon what children have already learned and to facilitate their connection to new concepts and skills. Theme based activities in key interest areas include integrating language, reading, mathematics, science, social studies and the arts.

 

The Pre-K setting incorporates learning while having fun.  Our oldest students are encouraged to make independent choices and interact with each other in a safe, encouraging and active climate. The ultimate goal is to form their own experiences and enable them to find their own unique learning style.

 

The Greentrees' preschool program follows our regular school calendar.  Before moving on to kindergarten, many of our children join us for camp over the summer as well... enjoying swim lessons in our "big kid" in-ground pool!
